It's been a long while. A long long while, since I've done any kind of internet updating or contributing. Wish I could say that's going to change, but I can't, at least not at this time. I've been working as much as my job lets me, and I find that I actually enjoy my work. I started out only pretending to like dealing with people, but it's true what they say. If you pretend to be something for long enough, eventually you'll become it. A lot of what I do is fun, and every week it's something different. Sometimes I would like a full time job so I could get out and get to do all the fun things around here. I'm making enough to get by right now, but in the larger scheme, my having free time between work is something worth sacrificing that 'play money' for.

See, I have a project that I've been working on since I moved. And for the first time in my life, I'm not procrastinating or losing motivation. All my free time, I spend doing something for the project. It's a sacrifice that I don't resent. Because if it works out and becomes successful, my life will finally be what I always wanted. All I've ever wanted to do is write and get my stories seen. With enough time, this should be the kick I need to get me in that direction.

But I haven't completely abandoned the interwebs. I still read all your journals and even if I don't get to reply, I'm still rooting for all of you. Though it might be a while before I'm 'back', I actually haven't really left. ...Well that sounded kind of stalkery. But you know what I mean. Ciao, amigos.

Felis Cattus, is your taxonomic nomenclature,
an endothermic quadruped carnivorous by nature?
Your visual, olfactory and auditory senses
contribute to your hunting skills, and natural defenses.

I find myself intrigued by your subvocal oscillations,
a singular development of cat communications
that obviates your basic hedonistic predilection
for a rhythmic stroking of your fur, to demonstrate affection.

A tail is quite essential for your acrobatic talents;
you would not be so agile if you lacked its counterbalance.
And when not being utilized to aide in locomotion,
it often serves to illustrate the state of your emotion.

O Spot, the complex levels of behaviour you display
connote a fairly well-developed cognitive array.
And though you are not sentient, Spot, and do not comprehend,
I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend.

You may have noticed, or not, that I upgraded my account to sponsored. That means I get all sorts of annoying ads when I update or view LJ, and they're on my personal page. So unless you're really dying to get invited to receive free Elizabeth Arden knockoffs or enhance your cleavage, you may want to keep away from my page. You have been warned! It shouldn't display on any of your pages btw, so please don't remove me, or I'll be sad panda and may cry an emo tear.

However this means I also get some niftyness, like more free icons and my own photo gallery:

http://pics.livejournal.com/tifakhisis/gallery/000015e3

Stay away if you're easily disturbed, in which case I don't know wtf you're doing reading my journal anyway. Ta!

Kingdom Hearts OWNS ME

SO MUCH OWNAGE. YES, YES, YEEEEEEES.

Ahem. So, I just got through dancing and singing with Ariel (yes, REALLY singing and dancing), a while ago I fought the multi headed Hydra (the ACTUAL Hydra), and before that, I fought side by side with the Beast (REEEEE of joy)... and tomorrow I'm going to get to board the FRIGGEN BLACK PEARL. Oh yes. It owns me. I've NEVER had this much fun with a game...I'm so close to venturing out to say that I like it even better than.... Xenogears! O.O But lets not be hasty...lol.

Penny Arcade did this comic regarding the subject. Today, Gabe linked a great wallpaper from said comic that I am of course now using, and I shrunk it here for your use at the normal size if you are interested.

Get this game! That is all.

ZOMG 25xors!

It's my birthday today, but instead of celebrating that boring old thing, let's take a moment and give a belated

YIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYI

to Lucy Lawless, who turned 38 yesterday.  Happy birthday Luc.

Off to work and to drop my mom at the bus station as she goes to visit my sisters on MY birthday.  le sob!  I guess I'd be more upset if I had actually remembered what day this was without Chad having to remind me.

"Yeah I hope you're going to be online at least a little bit Thursday."
"Why should I be online on Thursday?"
-disbelieving pause-
"....Oh yeah!  That old thing..."
"Yeah, quarter of a century old"
"Oh har har....at least Im no Lucy Lawless!"

Apologies to any Lucy that may be looking at this.  Ciao!

One Day, I'll learn to stop reading these before I see the movie. However. Bwaaaahahahaha. V for Vendetta in 15 minutes. Must see it now!

I'm reminded watching all these episodes of batman just how fun my childhood was. Oh to spend half my day watching cartoons again. Le sigh.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE or, FFXI FRUSTRATIONS omgwtfbbq

So, otherwise, the world in general sucks.  Tom Cruise apparently went scientologist again last night at some event and jumped on a couch and strangled a guy and shook Katie Holme's swollen belly like an 8-ball while asking "Am I totally batshit loco?".  I hear it came back with "Most definately yes."  Why are we still watching him?  Why am I still commenting on it?  Why ask why?  I think the alien beams are starting to affect me.

Actually I think I just need a midol.  On that note -makes like a tree and gets out of here-

Oh Strong Bad, how I lurv you....

Strong Bad saaaaaaaaved meeeeeeeeee. From Smallville. I swear, they just need to kill everyone off in that show and start up the Adventures of Lois and Clark again. Or even Superboy. Or just give Michael Bolton his own show. ANYTHING.

MY DOGGY IS CUUUUUURED! Yeah, she's not sick anymore, tests came back benign and she's going to be fine XD sweeeeeeeet.

So, WTF is with that Isaac Hayes dude pussying out of South Park over them making fun of Scientology? I personally don't like South Park at all...but when you spend 9 seasons making lots of sweet moola making fun of EVERY OTHER RELIGION, "cash every check" doing so, and then bitch and moan about them making fun of your OWN religion...that's just being a big whiny punkass BITCH.....So they made the chef some pedophile and then had him killed off by his cult. I love it. I might start watching SP now. OMG I'm a hypocrite now too! Hell if I care. Scientologist must die! Scientologist must die! (omg I'm getting sued now)

In closing.

"I've got some technology in my PANTS right now!" Also, my life could be a movie. R.O.F.L. Ah, dear Strong Bad. How I do lurv ye.

SINTASTIC!

Ok, I'm so going to hell for this entry. Packing my bags as I type. I was watching Harry Pottah, movie 4 earlier tonight and it never really dawned on me till now just HOW MUCH I HATE HERMIONE (movie Hermione, I think book Hermione is sorta rad). So much so that I decided to dedicate a whole slew of avatars just to my Mione hate. If you don't want to see me bash Hermy, look away. If you dont' want to see implied innuendo, also look away. If you want a good laugh at Hermy's expense (and a shared ticket to Tartarus) by all means, feel free to grab an icon.

First of all, STOP WITH YOUR GAWDAM SHRILLING VOICE! If I had to listen to her shriek "Harry!!!" ONE. MORE. TIME. What was really needed was a spell that would gag her for the whole damn movie. Alas, none exists. So I came up with this alternative in GA...the implied act ALONE will get me a few hundred years.

This one speaks for itself!

Inspired by Aerio. And Peg? Oh Shirt!

It just wouldn't be a Tifa post without the obligatory wong of these.

It feels so good to be so bad. I'm a horrible person.

16 hours of sleep FTW!

First, my doggy's surgery went well, yesterday she was groggy and a little weak, she had some trouble standing for long periods of time but today she's acting almost 100% normal, though obviously she's still sore. The only issue we have now is to stop her from licking the stitches, but a lovely Tshirt solved that. She's so cute, wish I had a camera. Now, this is my first day off in 2 weeks, so I'm going to spend it doing what any red-blooded American female with her first overtime check would do. SHOPPING BABYEE!

Catch ya'll on the flip side.

much like Rammi, some Random thanks

Chad - Thanks for your understanding and support putting up with me during the last couple weeks while I've been half psychotic from work and for being understanding these last couple days about something else and letting me kick ass in my own way. Standing Ovation right back for you, though only you should know what I'm talking about there. I love you sweetheart *big smooches for you*

Deltan - Been meaning to tell you thanks for the tip on the exercises to help my wrists....it works like a charm! But I seem to have developed a desire to download some pr0n now....(sorry, obligatory wrist joke there) I kid, but seriously thanks. It hurts no more to type, and if it does a couple of those helps tone it down. Muchos cookies for you, sir.

Kirkis - Thanks for your assistance in several things these few days as well, for your input, and especially thanks soooo much for the Rammstein, baby. This is the shit. I lurv it, and lawyer or no lawyer, this is how I'm gonna be rolling today at my cubey. For all that you do, Te quiero puta!

Zxin - Thanks for being the giant teddy bear that you are and keeping it straight, caue it really is all good. Don't you ever change your ways, except maybe your manwhore ways, I need a cut of that take, cause I bet you make bank. Snuggles to you Mr. Z.

Aeris - Thanks for not letting the emo bashing ones get you down, no matter what they say feel free to be all the emo you can be girl, you've earned it. Hope you will be getting all the rest you need on your much earned vacation, and try not to let things get to you, it'll all turn out for the best in the end. Huggles to Aeris!

Grin - Thanks for helping me keep my edge, you cuban hor. I don't know anyone else I can trade insults with and feel so invigorated! PS. Try to not give PLDS a bad name in the game you looser, you make it hard on all of us! /slap with a chancla for you

Sorry if I missed anyone, it's early, and I'm demented. SOMEONE GIVE ME A DAY OFF! Wheeeee. I love you all. BYe!

Have you Seen this Tifa?

If you have, seek psychiatric help, because you, my friend, are delusional, as I totally haven't been here at all. Yeah, so I've been MIA for the last week or so? But that's only because I've been at work data entering for block 12 hour shifts since Wednesday and just now got off a 'normal' 8 hour one and I go back tomorrow for another one but I should at least make bank not that it ever lasts although next week I need to dress up since some of the big shot attorneys are coming to observe us in our professionalism which I can totally do even though I don't have all that much in the way of dress clothes however my job depends on how they perceive our work environment so I'll do my best to show them we're productive and act very professional so they don't know that I'm really tired from the nonstop work and that even though a monkey could do what we do after 6 solid days of it I'm going starkly ravingly insane! BwAHAHAHAhahahaAHAHAha!ahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHahahah. Hah.

On Friday whilst chained to my desk, I wanted to hear a long ago song by David Bowie that I knew I had somewhere - Golden Years - and as I sat there fumbling through my CDs and trying to figure out where it was, I snapped. I threw my CD collection in the air, maiming several people, ran from the room, and knocking down a coding monkey screamed: "OMG I HATE CDS!!!1" (Yeah, I actually SAID 1.) Ok so maybe I'm kidding about the monkey, but I really did get fed up with toting a CD Player, a radio walkman, two cases of CDs and two different bags to carry everything in. So I caved, and got myself a Bean. The cutest thing I've ever seen, and if you don't have a MP3 player already, they are going for a phenomenally low price because they're no longer making them, and they hold 1 Gig, as well as a 50 hr charge. The downside is that of course it's a discontinued product, but for my purposes, it's just right! So welcome me to the Jungle of MP3 madness, and is ATRAC the best format ever created? I think yes. So, now that the crunch is over I'll be back soon I hope, with more music than you can shake an ugly stick at.

Stop rambling. Go to sleep. That goes for you too!

Good, and taking it with the bad.

So, I took my doggie to the vet yesterday because she's had this growth on her abdomen that has been getting bigger for the past few weeks, and there was bad and good news. Bad news is that she's pretty sick, it's a mammary tumor and it's in the one that drains pretty much all over the place, so it's in both her upper and lower lymphatic nodes. The good news is that it's all in an external sac so if her results come back and she's a good candidate for surgery they may be able to just lop it off and if it's not malignant she'll be ok for another three or four years. They're going to have to remove all her lymph nodes down there and do biopsies and all that exciting stuff, which = expensive but she's my doggy and I'm going to do what I can to keep her healthy as can be. On Monday I find out the results of the bloodwork and we'll go from there.

Speaking of bad, I saw Ultraviolet yesterday. Ok, I kid, it wasn't all terrible, it just seemed that way because they had to improvise every single one of their lines. It was Equilibrium without the plot or character development, but with better special effects and more kickass music. So, I'd say it's a 6/10. It would be 5/10 but it gains a point because Milla Jovovich is just that hawt.

And for more good, I went to Hot Topic yesterday and found they were having a sale. I picked up a Gryffindor and Slytherin Tee for 1/2 price, and picked up a Labyrinth Tee for regular price which was nice, however the cashier was n00 so when it came time for it to ring up the sale, he gave them all to me for the sale price. So three shirts for the price of, almost, one, not bad stuff.

I'm hungry now, so onward to Sonic for some burger action.

I never thought the day would come when a TOOL song would be better than a ZOMBIE song. Nevertheless, the fated moment has come. I've had them both on loop all night and I guess Twisted Transistor > Foxy, Foxy. Oh, the humanity.

Something is in the works. But I will not reveal what until the appropriate time. But for now it's enough for you all to know that Tifa's back, baby! Rock on.

"But don't give up, because the music do
Because the music do
And then it's reaching
Inside you forever preaching
Fuck you too
Your scream's a whisper
Hang on you

Hey Rin! Maybe you could subtley give this to Chris, and then you'd have your answer. If he doesn't own a game he'll have to pretend he does though.

Star Wars is getting its own one-hour a week episode series on Fox. Words escape me at this time, so once again, Penny Arcade says it all.

I was so thrilled earlier this week to find a Breath of Fire community that is actually active :o I'm on a Breath of Fire kick right (as if I ever stop), so this was extra yummy to me. I'm inspired to work on my fanfiction again... but I'm also lazy right now so .... yawmz. Eventually I will get to work with my acrylics though. Just need some free time. Next monday I have the Dentist so perhaps I will fuks around with it then.

"Inconceivable!"
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
The Princess Bride, such a source of inspiration to us all ^_^

Oh yes, because I did this from Kaze and I'm following step #6:

1) Reply and I will write something about you.
2) I will then tell you what song / band reminds me of you (Or probably just some game music tune.)
3) Next, I will tell you who you remind me of, celebrity / animated or otherwise.
4) Last, I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
5) Or will I?! (I don't listen to much music; but eh).
6) Put this in your journal.

zomg tgiaff

What a long week. But I feel surprisingly good about this one. SORE AS HELL from climbing stairs at work...all 13 stories of them, but as a friend of mine said, 'It's a GOOD sore!' lol... oh man, we so cwazy. So, I was one of the few that didn't get put back on coding today and was doing QC all day with the rest of the vets. But some of the stuff I was reading...eesh. Let's just say I won't ever work at Wal-Mart at least not in the US, after reading one store caused a death with their policies...and I thought West was bad.

So the other day the morning show had this segment called "Gangsta Phrase that Pays" and they were playing a portion of Destiny Child's soldier. What made it funny was the way Buzz was reading it out, just imagine like David Letterman trying to read the lyrics in the Standard American Dialect. Hilarity. They then had Duke, who is a funny guy as well, come on to translate it for 'people who don't speak hood'. For your guidance, here is the "Soldier" translation, as heard on the KLAQ morning show:

If your status ain't hood...
"If you don't originate from or currently live in an urban area"
I ain't checkin for him...
"Then you are not what I am looking for"
Better be street if you lookin at me, I need a soldier that ain't scared to stand up for me...
"I need a brave strong man who is not afraid to fight to defend me when I need him to"
Gotta know to get dough and he better be street...
"Who also knows how to make money whilst remaining close to his edgy roots"
I know some soldiers in here...
"And I know that there are some gentlemen in the general vicinity that fit that description"
Where they at, where they at
"Where are you? Where are you?"

"If there is someone on your friends list you would like to take, strip naked, tie them to a bed post, lick them until they scream, then screw them until both of you are senseless and unable to screw anymore, then wait about five minutes and do it all over again, then post this exact sentence in YOUR journal."

.... what? Ya'll know who I mean.

Nothing else to say right now, I just acquired the complete works of Calvin and Hobbes and I'll be reading that for a long while. Go wait for Advent Children or something.

AH-CHOO! I'm sorry, I'm allergic to bullshit...

Sho I have this thingy with my wrist and the carpal tunnel, I'm typing with a brace on and those wrist support pad things and it helps. I can't get a surgery right now so hopefully it does not impede much more in terms of typing. If ya'll weren't so darn addicting I wouldn't have to worry about typing so much.

What else goes on. Hmmm....I love you much Chad ^_^ That pops in my head once every hour at minimum so that counts as a thought.

Megatokyo is becoming much the boredom. I don't think I'll be purchasing the third book as it has pretty much become a long running soap operaesque drama. And we all know what I think of drama....

Hrm... Not anything else what I can think of now. Drink up me hearties yo ho!

Wed, Jan. 19th, 2005, 06:45 am
Now is the winter of our discontent made whole...

Well, my computer isn't taking cookies anymore for some reason. Security settings are normal, but every time I refresh I have to re-login. Annoying little bugger. But, I just can't stay away from you people.

The other day I was listening to the radio and this song comes on that I'm jamming away to. I'd never heard it before or so I thought, until the middle of the song when the lead starts sounding more and more like James Hetfield... and the DJ comes on and said it was Turn the Page - by Metallica. I'm like, oh. Guess it's been a while. So Aeris, that's another song to add to your PL if you don't have it. I guarantee it rocks, even though it doesn't sound a thing like Metallica until the middle of it.

Metallica always makes me somewhat sad. I always end up thinking about Sarnia and inevitably of...sigh. But they rock, so I will deal with the sadness.

I was coding some documents and came across a batch of people whose parents are more cruel than mine. Among the names I found Sugar Sweet Divinity. And then there was Umporn Carzino. Imagine the naming of that child? "What would you like to be his name?" Mom is unconscious, dad panics and says what first pops into his head. "Umm....porn?" I know I told some of you about it, but not everyone saw, so relax coughZXIN.

In other news, what are the odds we'll be seeing this spot in American channels anytime soon? America, land of people freaking over a pastie covered boob? Maybe whenever GW gets out of office. Or dies. Whichever comes first.

Mon, Jan. 10th, 2005, 09:19 pm

Phantom of the Opera m12m by Cleolinda is so much the awesomeness. If I could write half as cleverly as she could, I sure wouldn't be sitting coding data day after day in an office. You will have to join to read but I guarantee it is worth it if you love satire as much as I do. If you don't, just pass this on by.

I am in the market for some new music. I don't care what kind as long as it isn't rap, country, or mainstream pop/hip hop (read:CRAP). Fix me a link or just a group. I prefer techno instrumentals atm but any thing will do.

As heard on the Buzz Adams morning show:
The star of the Who's Your Daddy "reality TV" show was found to have been in several porn movies before appearing in the new show that is sparking so much controversy. Daddy's likely reaction when he first sees daughter?
"We have such a connection! It seems I've come across your face before!"

Buzz is the only thing on the radio worth listening to really. I heard a pepsi commercial that was so, so, so, so, stupid. It was something along the lines of:
"I'm mexican and I can rap and I drink my pepsi oooh snap!"
[Audience listening] Oooooooh buuuuuurn
"Drink your Pepsi and rap like me and you'll be on radio hee hee hee"
[Audience listening] Ohhhh woooord! Hey give me that Pepsi man!

I think I will never drink Pepsi again as long as I live. I would so regret buying a CD/FM tuner, if it wasn't for Buzz.

I'm going to write a new "reality TV" script. It will involve some people trying to set up a group of girls with a guy, and if they pick the right one, they get to win a million dollars. But there's a catch. One of the guys is also the girls father! DUM DUM DUUUUUUM. It'll be called: "Who wants to Win a Date with Average Joe Who's Also Your Daddy" I guarantee, it's practically a hit already >.>

More about "God hating us all"

This is a follow up to my most recent entry. I was listening to Buzz the following day and he and his booth buddies had done some research. Not surprisingly, they turned up a lot of dirt on this Phelps fellow. He has been documented of abuse towards his wife and children. In the late 60s he was heavily into using methamphetamines, and when he tried to break his addiction by getting into marathon running, he forced his family (including 6 year old son) to run with him. 11 of his kids are lawyers, and he was a lawyer himself before he was disbarred for improperly billing clients for cases. Now he makes his money by having his children sue other people. He has disowned two of his sons because they dont follow his teachings.

This site has a lot of disturbing facts specifically about him, and he is a dark evil man indeed. The following excerpt will tell you a bit more:

"Mark Phelps feels nauseated whenever he remembers that night. He was hit over 60 times and his brother, Nate, over 200 with a mattock** handle. Nate went into shock. Mark didn't. A boy who became a compulsive counter to handle the stress, Mark counted every stroke. His and Nate's. While their father screamed obscenities and his brother screamed in pain. Every 20 strokes, their mother wiped their faces off in the tub"
**"A mattock is a pick-hoe using a wooden handle heavier than a bat. Fred swung it with both hands like a ballplayer and with all his might"

Definately not someone playing with a full deck, at the very least, and an insane monster that needs to be put away at worst. If I had to choose, I'd say this is more the work of the devil than anything remotely religious, definately. Oh no, I guess I'm going to hell now! Guess I'll see you there Buzz!

Thu, Jan. 6th, 2005, 06:57 pm

So this morning I tuned into my favorite morning show at work, Buzz in the morning on KLAQ, the hard rock station here in El Paso. Usually, this show is hilarious and lots of fun to listen to. This morning however, as soon as I tuned in I knew somehting was up because Buzz was being called a stupid silly man who didn't really have a show by some geriatric man who then hung up on him, and Buzz was super pissed. So, I hang on, the edge of my seat. Turns out he had been interviewing some Baptist religious fanatic. Not just any Baptist religious fanatic! He's the man that brings us such gems as:

GodHatesAmerica.com
GodHatesFags.com
and soon to come! GodBroughttheTsunami.com

What The Fuck

So yeah, these people are preaching that you need to hate gay people and Americans because we are all going to hell. In fact the only people NOT going to hell are this guys family and small parish of 100 people. And anyone else who violently hates gays. They believe that not only is being gay itself something that can damn you to hell, but condoning it or letting others be gay without hate in your heart is enough. The guy hung up because he couldn't stand someone disagreeing with him but his daughter picked up when they called back and let me tell you, that was one hell of a conversation. Mostly it went like this:

Buzz: Makes a good point about something.
Dumbass: Quotes irrelevant scripture for five minutes so Buzz can't make any comments back.
Buzz: Interupts with a feedback loop and gets a question in.
Dumbass: Finishes quoting irrelevant scripture and makes completely ignorant comment about why they are right and we are all fucked. For a "Christian" she sure cussed a lot btw. In fact she said she didn't like calling herself Christian. Because of the way Americans used it.

So after more bantering, Buzz makes the very good point that what they preach is nothing but hatred. And wasn't the will of God that we should love our neighbors? And didn't Christ himself forgive the people that sinned against him? I dont pretend to know the Bible at all, but they sounded like good points. What does she do? (Ok, her name wasn't really Dumbass, it was Shirley. She just WAS a dumbass. On with it now.)

Shirley: He didn't say love EVERYONE. He said we need to HATE those that don't follow his word. Don't you remember Sodom and Gomorra?? We have to HATE these people.
Buzz: It sounds to me more like you're doing the devils work.
Shirley: YOU JUST COMMITTED A MORTAL SIN. YOU CALLED GODS WORK THE WORK OF THE DEVIL. A MORTAL SIN CAN'T BE FORGIVEN NO MATTER WHAT.
Buzz's booth buddies: You really do sound like you're preaching for the Devil.
Shirely: YOU'RE ALL GOING TO HELL.
Buzz: Well at least we'll know some people there.
Shirly: That's very funny.
Buzz: I'm not the one preaching the Devils work.
Shirley: That's twice you commited a mortal sin!
Buzz: Well I'm already unforgivably going to hell, so it doesn't matter how many times I do it now.

So this is a long post already. To wrap it up I'll add the ending which I found so funny, and which several of my coworkers did as well as we were all being pretty disruptive this morning. But that is our right!

Buzz: You said Regan was going to hell? You picketed his funeral? Why??
Shirley: We picketted Regan because he was an adulterer!
Buzz: You mean how he took another wife AFTER he was divorced?
Shirley: No, he wasn't divorced, just his wife was.
Buzz:... wouldn't that mean they were...
Shirley: Oh yeah, right he...strike that. Forget the Adultery...
Buzz: Did you just bear false witness against President Regan??
***Buzz turns on the VOICE OF GOD effect***
BUZZGOD: Thou shalt not bear false witness Shirley!
Shirley: Hahaha.
BUZZGOD: Don't interupt me! You can not interupt GOD.
Shirley: Quotes some more irrelevant or made up scripture.
BUZZGOD: Wow she knows this better than me. That is why I'm going to have her at my right hand. See, Jesus used to be here, but now I'm going to put Shirley here, so that I won't have to look up passages anymore. I used to get SO many papercuts that way.
***Buzz turns off the VOICE OF GOD effect***
Buzz: Hey by the way, when the FBI come to the compound, make sure all the flammable stuff is stored out of the way ok?

Hopefully they'll get a transcript of the show up or something becuase it was jsut damn good. And a damn good example of why I will never NEVER go to any church or claim any religion. Ever.

Well

Everyone is posting about their Christmas and how it went, I think I'll skip that. Not that it was a horrible day (Spending time with the guy I love is always a great thing, even if it had to be through electronic means), but without my family around it just didn't feel at all like Christmas.

Instead, I'd like to say to all of you that can see this, I wish you a very safe and happy New Year (Gooshness, how cliche) But seriously, everyone please be careful when you go out to celebrate (especially you Shreddy, I worry about you) And here are my best wishes to you all for a great, positive, upbeat, happy New Year full of relaxed professors, easy homework / classes, good leveling up, great game releases (KH 2! Yay!), shorter days on the job, longer hours of relaxation and "you time", and lots of time to spend with your loved ones and lots of hope for new loved ones as well :) Take care all, and lots of love!

Tired and sick

I was going to go search for another employment opportunity with this extra morning time but silly me I had to go catch a cold or whatever the fuck I have now. FUCK. I just can't seem to catch a break with whatever it is that is driving my life lately. But whatever, I know that something has to change soon. Because if it doesn't, I will snap, and I will go homicidal, and I WILL TAKE YOU ALL WITH ME!

Ok, I feel better.

I have a new obsession lately. I got Shrek 2 on Nov 5th and I have watched it at least once a day every day since. I love that movie, like to pieces, as in I will probably wear the tracks to dull silver ruts with my DVD player and have to go replace it AND my player so I can continue watching it. That much. That movie is awesomeness on toast and it is now my new favorite animated movie of all time. ALL TIME. Bye bye Jack and Sally. Hello Shrek and Fiona. Working on an all new Icon of Shrek related themes too. You should see my Winamp XD! Yes, I'm psychotic. IT'S ALL I HAVE LEFT OK???

^^'

I've been having these weird thoughts lately...

No it's not Kingdom Hearts. I've really been just feeling depressed and blah about a lot of things, like I look around and see varying things that make me wonder about what the point of it all is. People are horrible selfish things, and it's a good thing that I'm not the Ethereal, that mythical thing that decides who lives and who dies, because I think about 99.9% of the world would be wiped out right now. Maybe it would just be the US and a few other ridiculous countries out there. Just, feeling really morose and morbid lately. I think it's the job that's helping that out too, the people I deal with daily...my god, if that's how they act with something so meaningless and uneccessary, how would they handle having to really deal with a harsh world without pointless distractions? SO many judgemental people out there too. So I have some red hair now, does that make me a devil worshipper or something? Meh...I don't like feeling this way, I like trying to see good in everything but I haven't seen much of it lately. I'm hanging in there though, because there are a few good people, I know. As long as that's there, I think I'll be ok.

Oh and this is just scary:
Take the quiz: "What does your birth month reveal about you?"

March

One of those really weird days....so I leave you this pretty thing

fhg
You're a "Purple Angel". You're a fighter
and you know it. If you were an angel, you'd be
part of the celestial army. You're tough as
nails and definately a go big or go home
person. You do everything to the best of your
ability. You're not like the gaudian angel
where you just protect your friends but you
protect everybody. You can't stand to see
people suffering and you'd do anything to
change that. You're a very fun person as long
as people are on your good side and you're very
laid back. (If you can't see tje pics, go to my
homepage and look near the bottom and find your
result)

ahh

last day of training was today. we basically slacked and did nothing but fuck around all day, and then the potluck which went pretty well, even if I ate way too much for one day. going to graham's tonight, if people decide to call/come get me.

my mom is still mad at me because of the argument yesterday, hell if I care. I just talk to her like normal, and she gives short yes or no responses. I guess she wants an apology...lol. She'll wait for a long time, cause I know I'm not wrong, and if she insists on this kind of behavior I can put up with it. If she doesn't think I should have a say in how the kids act, she should have thought of that before she made me their part time caretaker at the ripe old age of 8.

-sidles away to get ready for some partaying- hooah.

Chains of Promathia...installing.

I'm very likely going to get drunk with people from work tomorrow. I'm actually looking forward to it.

Off to download some "new" music.

Edit: Fuck it, I'm just burning this same song 16 times on the same CD, the end.

Wholly geeeez

Before I rant I gotta show off my new favorite picture ^^. It's so cute, I just love it. -huggles and kisses to the cute guy in that pic- Ok, I'll stop now ^^'

I went shopping with the intent of buying a new keyboard and a new pair of shoes since my last pair tore with the rain and junk >.> and developing (finally) the roll from my last trip. I got those done, and then as I was leaving from the photo department this big palette loader thing got in my way so I had to take a detour through the books... and what should I see. Dark Tower Book 7. Final book in the series. Illustrated. And on sale. Fuck yeah, I bought it. Well I promised myself I would when I saw it and though I know I have no free money anymore, it was something I just HAD to have. It's hard to explain if you haven't read the series and haven't been impacted by it like I have....I'll have to read it and find out why I was forced to buy it >.>

So I finished shopping at 6...got downtown at 6:15...hopped on my bus... and it turned out to not be my bus. On two sides it said #35, but on the FRONT it was differet. No, it was the #42, which took me all the way to the east side of town, across from the military base -_- I got home at 8. No chance to read tonight, but I'll drag it to work tomorrow.

Work is ...-_-... Christ I hate drama. I mean I HATE it. We tried to organize a classwide potluck, the list went around and people signed, and the three bitches just HAD to ruin it by saying their side would bring enough food for all and try to make a menu. Keenan called it off and said we'd all do one on the last day of class. It's a POT LUCK. You can't make a menu with one kind of food and tell people what to bring or not -_-. That defeats the whole damn purpose. If I had wanted this kind of drama I would have stayed in high school.

Hopefully things will turn out like I'm hoping they will, or like the signs have been pointing. I really really pray so.

For heavens sake a happy MEDIUM please??

why must you fry or freeze us, have you never heard of ideal room temperature?  Bastards.

David (queer eye for the third row) keeps grabbing my red streaked hair and saying "I love your hair!"  So today I had it in a bun.  He comes up and grabs the bun and goes "I love your hair, and it looks cute in a bun!"  Dunno if I want to give it the choppity chop still.   How many times he grabs my hair tomorrow may decide me =P

Somehow the class has divided into factions.  Side A vs Side B.  I brought it up at the table at break and Lore put it the best: "Think about it.  If you were stuck on a desert island, would you rather be stuck with people from Side A, or Side B?"  (Side B=Dumb, Dumber, Mean ol lady, Sid and Dresscode chick)  Good point Lore.  Speaking of Dumber, about 80% of the class now sighs/laughs/tsks when his hand goes in the air. Yes it is true what they say about New Mexico.  Every day that class gets more and more amusing.  It's like friggen Days of Our Lives, minus the murders.  I'd say demonic possession but I have doubts about that Mean ol Lady.

Now that I left the boards, I'm strangely liberated.  I never realized how much it took from me to have to slog through those topics to find stuff I had to reply to, in order to meet my 'quota'.  It's actually nice not to have to post.  More time for actual gaming.  (hah, as if I have time for games ;_; )

I'm cooking in the kitchen and my dad comes in and watches me a while, then goes "hi Sunshine!"  I don't answer. "Hello Sunshine!"  I don't answer.  "I wuv you"  "That's nice"  "That's nice is all?"  "Yes."  I deal with dumbasses all day in class, fuck if I'm going to deal with it at home too.  I'm not getting paid for it here.
